Get into the saddle in fine weather and pedal along the bottom of the valley. Or climb farther up, to reach the highest peaks. The most striking spots in the Braies Valley, including Prato Piazza, characteristic locations such as Brunico, Dobbiaco and Lienz, can be reached directly from the Hotel Pragserhof.   • Braies – Villabassa – Monte Rota / Franadega – Planca di Sopra / Valle di Casies – passing through Durna in Selva as far as Monte Eggerberg / Villabassa – Braies,  about 4 h, 1,000 m difference in altitude, medium difficulty, 45 km
  • San Candido – Lienz, return by train,  2 h, easy, 50 km
  • Villabassa – Brunico, return by train,  1.5 h, easy, 30 km
  • Round trip Sesto-San Candido: Cappella del Bosco / San Candido – Waldruhe, Ferrara – San Vito – San Candido,  about 4 h, 900 m difference in altitude, medium difficulty, 33 km
